ORA has made its first trip to the USA with three hugely well received concerts in Dallas and Austin, Texas. Audiences were treated to ORA's customary combination of Renaissance masterpieces and contemporary reflections, including the iconic Allegri Miserere and MacMillan's modern take on the same text.

There were 4 US premieres (all ORA commissions) by Ēriks Ešenvalds, Harry Escott, Alec Roth and Roderick Williams, and we also paid tribute to the recently departed American composer, Steven Stucky, by singing his Three New Motets (In Memoriam of Thomas Tallis).

Our huge thanks go to Scott Dettra and James Brown for inviting us to perform at the Church of the Holy Incarnation in Dallas and the First Presbyterian Church in Austin respectively, and not least to Randy Best for inviting us to perform an exclusive, private concert for him and his guests. We can't wait until next time!
