The Bath Festival- Desires

  • Bath Assembly Rooms (map)
unnamed-1.jpg

A classic ORA Singers' programme set in the beautiful Bath Assembly Rooms. Combining the best of Renaissance and modern choral works, Desires focuses on musical settings of text from the Song of Songs, often as sensuous and highly-charged as the text itself. The concert includes works from Renaissance greats such as Palestrina and Victoria, through to ORA-commissioned reflections by the world-renowned composer Jonathan Dove, John Barber and Donna McKevitt. Enjoy the best of the choral tradition, both ancient and modern.
